About the trip

About

It is time to go to Forat De Bernia 🥾! This is so awesome that you won't believe what you see. One of the main features is a tunnel across a mountain ⛰. You enter at the Sierra and exit at the Mediterranean.

The first part of the route runs along a path in good condition and is practically flat until we reach a fountain ⛲ where we can cool off. Once we pass the water source, we will make several stops as the slope will become steeper. The route runs along immense stone walls 🗿 that make us feel tiny. After that, we will arrive at Forat de Bernia, a spectacular natural tunnel that crosses the ridge. We will have to pass crouching down and without the backpack. The views that we receive will make it all totally worth it! 🌅

This is where we are going to take some rest and you can eat your lunches 🍎🥗🥖. It is important to regain some energy again as we will continue the hike later to a small fortress. Finally, we begin a steeper descent down the other side of the mountain, reaching an area where the path widens and where we see fields of crops around us. This indicates that we are finishing the route and getting close to the starting point again. 📍
