Guadalest is one of the most visited villages in Spain. This is a stunningly beautiful place in the mountains. Very picturesque, a hilltop village complete with church and bell tower, with restaurants and souvenir shops with views over the lake and mountains. Definitely worth a visit.
What's interesting in Alicante & Guadalest ?
📍Santa Barbara Castle . The ancient 9th century castle sits overlooking the Costa Blanca and not only is it a gorgeous castle to wander, but it offers some really spectacular panoramic views.
📍Town Hall. The building we can see in the present day dates back from the early stages of the 18th century.
📍The Santa Cruz Neighborhood.
📍 "La cara del moro”- a face profile on the rock after centuries of wind erosion and that does resemble a person's face.
📍 Castle in Guadalest ( El Castel de Guadalest) . The castle of Guadalest is an historical treat to visit. It is a must. From San Josep Castle there is a panoramic view of the Guadalest reservoir (Valey)
📍 Guadalest Valey. The color of water is exactly the same as in the pictures. It looks absolutely magical.
