About the Event
ONE TRIP - 8 CITIES:
- Merzouga Desert
If you want to explore all the wonders of Morocco, then this is the ideal trip for you! You will discover the rich history of imperial cities, breathtaking nature, and the mountains where you will find thousands of Kasbahs (castles made from sun-dried brick), and Berbers towns.
Day 1: Departure from Valencia to Algeciras
We will leave Valencia at 18:00, to travel all night and arrive in the early morning in Algeciras.
Day 2: Departure from Algeciras to Morocco
From Algeciras we will take a boat to Tanger. We will witness some of the most important border crossings in the world, the passage from Europe to Africa.
Once we’ve arrived in Morocco. Our first destination is Chefchaouen, a holy city situated on top of a mountain. It’s known for the striking, blue-washed buildings of its old town. We’ll have a guided tour and free time to wander through the streets of the old town. The narrowness of the streets does not allow transportation other than donkeys. We will see magnificent mosques and Koranic schools. It is here in Chefchaouen where we will spend our first night in Africa.
Day 3: Chefchaouen/ Fez.
After breakfast, we will take our bus to go to Fez. Fez has always been associated with studying and religion and is still the spiritual capital of Morocco. Here you’ll find the Royal Palace of Fez, The Mellah (Jewish quarter) and the oldest mosque in Fez. We’ll have a guided tour and free time to explore the city on our own. In Fez, we will spend our second night.
Day 4: Fez/ Merzouga desert
We’ll continue travelling to the Merzouga desert, where we’ll sleep under the stars! Once we’re there we’ll ride camels over the dunes and watch the sunset in the desert and then spend the evening in Jaimas (in a typical Sahara Desert tent). We’ll have dinner and we will spend the night there.
Day 5: Desert
We’ll get up early in the morning so that we can see the magnificent desert sunrise. We’ll ride the camels back to the hotel. There is also the option to take a 4×4 through the desert where you’ll visit nomadic villages and the lakes. We’ll spend the evening partying, drinking, and dancing to tambourines in the hotel in the desert.
Day 6: Toudra Gorges/ Ouarzazate
In the morning we’ll continue our journey to Ouarzazate where we’ll visit the impressive Toudra Gorges. Ouarzazate, also known as The Desert Gate, is a city in southern Morocco. Frequented by tourists for its proximity to the Atlas Mountains and the Draa River Valley, it is a unique destination. We’ll spend the night in Ouarzazate.
Day 7: Marrakech/ Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah
We’ll get up early and go to Marrakech. On our way, we will stop to see the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, declared a World Heritage Site. In Marrakech, we’ll see the famous Plaza Jemma El Fna, which is spectacular in the evening. We’ll have a guided tour to get to know the history of this incredible place and the main monuments and buildings. We’ll spend the night at a hotel in Marrakech.
Day 8: Marrakech
We will have all day to continue exploring Marrakech! We will spend the night in Casablanca.
Day 9: Casablanca/ Rabat/ Back to Valencia

Afterwards, we’ll head towards Rabat, the capital of the kingdom, where there is a panoramic view of the mausoleum of Mohammed V. After visiting Rabat, we will go to Tanger, to catch our ferry.
